The dream of every television station in Ghana is to play a role in the positive growth of people within it’s catchment area and Sagani Tv is not exceptionally.
The Marketing manager for the Tamale based Television Station Sagani Tv, Iddrisu Ziblim David known by many as Dj Mbeli was over the weekend featured on one of the most listened to program dubbed “Zaa Cortu” hosted by Kawastone on Zaa Radio.
During the caused of the interview the host of the program asked him as to what might have lead to the station decision to abandoned movies made in the North on their channel but rather focus their lenses in airing Nollywood and Hollywood movies that hardly benefits the people here Financially.
In his response to the questions asked, Dj Mbeli made it known to the general public that management of Sagani Tv is not happy for not airing movies shot in the North but they have nothing to do again after trying their possible best to negotiate a deal with actors, actresses and producers to enable them start showing their movies on their station but were denied the right.
He further stated that the station is forever willing to showcase those movies to the rest of the world if they give them the chance to do so but for now, the decision lies in the hands of the producers of those movies.
