Nigerian singer, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk reflects on the impact of actress Yvonne Nelson’s allegations on his current relationship.
Nelson accused Iyanya of infidelity with actress Tonto Dikeh while they were together.
During an interview on the Tea With Tay podcast, Iyanya honestly discusses how these allegations nearly led to the dissolution of his present relationship.
Nelson’s accusations were detailed in her memoir, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,” published on June 18, 2023.
Iyanya explains that after the book’s release, a potential romantic interest began to doubt his character.
He further elaborates on the emotional turmoil he experienced when confronted with these accusations, stating, “Yvonne Nelson’s allegations were incredibly distressing and almost caused me to lose my current relationship.
Prior to the publication of her memoir, I was involved with an unsuspecting woman who was not a public figure. However, once the book was released, everything became uncertain.
The woman began to question whether I had changed and if I would treat her the same way.”
