I will never file in any category in the Vgma — Maccasio revealed

Ghanaian musician, Maccasio, has recently made a bold statement about his stance on the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

In a recent interview, the Tamale-based artiste revealed to Mr. Tell on the Bugum Beni Show on Radio Tamale that he will never fill in any category in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Maccasio, who is known for his unique style of music, explained that his decision to not participate in the Vgma is based on personal reasons. He stated that he believes that the Vgma does not fully represent the music industry in Ghana and that there are other avenues for recognition and success in the industry.

The Dagomba girl crooner further explained that he does not want to be part of a system that he feels is not transparent and fair. He believes that the Vgma is biased towards certain genres and artists and that this has led to a lack of diversity in the industry.

Maccasio remains resolute in his decision and has stated that he will continue to focus on his music and his fans. He believes that success in the industry should not be solely based on awards and recognition, but on the impact that an artist has on their audience.
